What We Help With

We provide assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions — the kind of pain and stiffness that stops you doing the things you enjoy. Our approach is evidence-informed, hands-on, and focused on getting you back to what matters.

Back Pain

Back pain is the most common reason people visit a chiropractor. Whether it came on suddenly or has been building over time, mechanical back pain often involves joint restriction, muscle tension, or a combination of both.

We assess the source of your pain and develop a management plan that may include manual adjustments, gentle mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, and specific exercises. Many of our patients find that addressing the musculoskeletal factors helps them return to daily activities with less discomfort.

Common presentations: lower back pain, stiffness after sitting or driving, pain bending or lifting, recurrent back episodes.

Neck Pain

Neck pain and stiffness are increasingly common, particularly for people who spend long hours at a desk or looking at screens. Restricted movement in the cervical spine can affect your comfort, concentration, and sleep.

Our assessment focuses on identifying areas of restriction and dysfunction. Care may include manual therapy, mobilisation, and practical advice on posture and ergonomics. Evidence supports chiropractic care for the relief of neck pain, particularly when combined with exercise.

Common presentations: stiff neck, pain turning your head, "text neck", waking with neck pain, referred pain into the shoulders.

Headaches

Many headaches originate from the structures of the neck — these are called cervicogenic headaches. They often present as a dull ache at the base of the skull, behind the eyes, or across the forehead, and are frequently associated with neck stiffness.

Evidence supports chiropractic care for the assessment and management of cervicogenic headaches and tension-type headaches. Our approach involves assessing the cervical spine for restriction and using manual therapy to improve function.

While we cannot guarantee a cure, many of our patients find that managing the musculoskeletal aspects of their neck tension helps them get back to doing what they love.

Common presentations: tension headaches, headaches with neck stiffness, headaches behind the eyes, recurring headaches not responding to medication alone.

Sciatica & Referred Leg Pain

Sciatica describes pain that radiates from the lower back into the buttock and down the leg, often following the path of the sciatic nerve. It can range from a dull ache to sharp, shooting pain and may be accompanied by numbness or tingling.

We provide thorough assessment to identify whether your symptoms involve nerve irritation, disc-related issues, or joint and muscle factors. Management may include gentle manual therapy, specific movement strategies, and advice on positions that reduce nerve irritation.

Common presentations: pain down the leg, buttock pain, numbness or tingling in the leg or foot, pain worse with sitting.

Care During Pregnancy

The physical changes during pregnancy — shifts in weight distribution, hormonal changes affecting ligament laxity, and altered biomechanics — can place significant demands on the spine and pelvis.

We provide gentle, modified care to help manage pregnancy-related back pain and pelvic girdle discomfort. Our techniques are adapted for comfort and safety at every stage, supporting your body's ability to adapt during this time.

Common presentations: lower back pain during pregnancy, pelvic girdle pain, rib and mid-back discomfort, difficulty sleeping due to pain.

Sports & Workplace Injuries

Whether you are a weekend athlete, an active worker, or someone dealing with the physical demands of manual labour, musculoskeletal injuries can interrupt your life. We provide assessment and management of common conditions affecting the spine and extremities.

Our focus is on restoring joint function, addressing muscle imbalances, and providing practical rehabilitation advice to help you return to your activities safely and effectively.

Common presentations: sprains and strains, shoulder impingement, repetitive strain, lifting injuries, pain after physical work.
